Balloon Fish Donabe Japanese Stone Pot Single 6"D

Donabe Japanese clay pot is an authentic way to make everyday meals Instagram-able. This single serving nabe comes with it's own ricebowl. That's right, the lid when flipped over becomes a bowl! This mini donabe is great for entertaining and table setting pizzazz, let's have a nabe party! First, prep carrots, chinese cabbages, Japanese white radish, green onion, mushrooms and a choice of seafood, meat or tofu.  Then, pour water to donabe and let it boil. After water is boiled, put in all the ingredients and cook. Before first use make sure to season. Step 1: Dry thoroughly, especially the bottom of the Donabe. Step 2: Pour water about 3/4 full into the Donabe and add rice (1:5 rice to water ratio). Step 3: Cover the Donabe with lid and cook over low-medium heat until it becomes porridge. Step 4: Turn off heat and let cool for 1 hour before disposing. Step 5: Wash Donabe with warm soapy water.
